The Summer We Collected Favorites
Summer always announces itself—you can feel it in the last weeks of school, the way the air shifts warmer, the way long afternoons start to stretch into possibility. And with it comes a new set of favorites: the objects, clothes, and tiny details that anchor our days and follow us into the season’s best memories.
This Lola blanket lived on our couches and in the backs of our cars, the kind of piece that proved softness is a luxury worth carrying everywhere. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Zenni glasses brought that unapologetic punch of pink, oversized and playful, as if daring us to see the world through a brighter lens. The Lonely Ghost trucker hat did what Lonely Ghost always does—gave us something worth talking about. Its message, stitched bold in red, felt like the unofficial mantra of the season.
Beauty was pared back but intentional. Phlur’s Vanilla Skin perfume became the scent of the summer—warm, airy, and intimate, like sun-warmed skin after golden hour. And for eyes, Cali Ray mascara delivered that extra layer of confidence, moving seamlessly from pool days to rooftop nights.
Clothing carried the rhythm of ease. The Pepper Mayo yellow dress caught the light in a way that felt cinematic, while the Pacsun camo hoodie reminded us that even in August, there are nights that call for something oversized and grounding. Paired with the Aerie gray shorts, it became a uniform for afternoons spent somewhere between lounging and wandering.
Accessories and extras held their own. A Beis backpack stashed the essentials for city days—laptops, lip gloss, half-read paperbacks, and whatever else summer spontaneity demanded—always structured enough to feel polished, but easy enough to sling on as you ran out the door. The Apple Watch Series 10 quietly tracked time without ever intruding on it. On our feet, Reebok leopard print sneakers injected energy into even the simplest looks—equal parts functional and bold. And tucked into tote bags or perched on shelves, Sonny Angels reminded us not to take anything too seriously.
These aren’t just things. They’re the markers of a season—the comfort we reached for, the color we gravitated toward, the scent that lingered on our skin. Together, they’re a snapshot of how we lived summer 2025: announced, anticipated, and fully ours.
