The house of Tanner Fletcher isn’t a fixed place, but a feeling you can wear
Tanner Ritchie and Fletcher Kasell of Tanner Fletcher have transported us once again into their playful universe. This time at an underway Capitale in downtown Manhattan to debut their Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Titled The Re-Decorating Home Collection, Tanner Fletcher didn’t just throw a fashion show, they staged a full-on housewarming party.
The show was a theatrical redecoration in motion—a poetic renovation of Tanner and Fletcher's “apartment.” Each look is carefully composed as if it were a room being styled: garments echo the texture and palette of the set itself, blurring the boundary between what we wear and where we dwell. The models transform the space, each carrying props sourced from antique stores, Etsy treasure hunts, and weekend yard sales, such as candlesticks, ceramic vases, oil paintings, antique teacups. These were not just accessories, but characters in the narrative of a home being reimagined.
The clothes themselves blurred past and present with Tanner Fletcher’s signature alchemy. Tailored suits softened by lace trims, fluid dresses embroidered with delicate motifs, and crystal-sequined gowns that shimmered like heirlooms unearthed from a dusty attic trunk. Victorian flourishes, ‘40s elegance, and ‘70s retro quirks all converged, stitched together into a version of history that felt freshly, defiantly modern. Each look unfolded like a room in motion: muted rose, butter yellow, dusty blue, and ivory tones anchoring silhouettes that slipped from boudoir to garden to dinner party without breaking stride.
The collection was not about fashion in isolation. It was about clothing as furniture, dressing as redecorating, and the apartment as mood board. It was a meditation on memory, taste, and transformation. A reminder that home isn’t a fixed place, it’s a feeling you can wear.
The front row echoed the intimacy of the moment, with St. John, Liz Gillies, Jordan Roth, and Grace Vanderbilt Waahl gathering as if they, too, were part of the Tanner Fletcher family circle.
This collection is an extension of what Tanner Fletcher continues to explore with their brand: how dressing feels like redecorating one’s most intimate space.
