The Regrettes: Final Farewell in Los Angeles

The Regrettes closed their career with three sold out nights at The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, California. Each night focused on one of three of their major musical projects. Night two of three, photographed here, centered on the band’s second album, How Do You Love? Though each night spotlighted a specific album, the duration of each of the final shows served as a celebration of the band’s entire discography.

Fans began lining up at 10 am in hopes of accessing a coveted barricade spot for the show. The Regrettes delivered on their promise of dancing together one last time — the majority of the show featured the band’s upbeat punk-pop songs, from “Monday” to “California Friends.” Besides a ballad or two, that Lydia Night asked the crowd to slow-dance to, the night was spent in high energy with fans and the band enjoying their last few bittersweet moments together.

After 8 years together, the disbandment was a shock to many fans but the final shows served as an amazing celebration and a dedicated tribute to the years that The Regrettes & fans have enjoyed in each other’s company.
